At Guided Path Private School, learning goes beyond the four walls of the classroom. Our recent EDU-EXPLORE Excursion to Abeokuta was an exciting blend of education, adventure, culture, and unforgettable memories for both our pupils and teachers.
The excursion gave our learners the opportunity to explore historical landmarks, interact with nature, and enjoy hands-on experiences that inspired curiosity and teamwork.
Exploring the Historic Olumo Rock
One of the major highlights of the excursion was our visit to the famous Olumo Rock, one of Abeokuta’s most iconic tourist attractions. The pupils were thrilled to see the massive rock formations and learn about the rich history and cultural significance of the site.
The children enjoyed:
- Climbing and exploring the beautiful environment around the rock
- Listening to interesting historical stories and facts
- Taking memorable group photographs
- Bonding with classmates and teachers during the adventure
The atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter, and curiosity as the pupils experienced learning in a completely different and engaging way.
Fun Moments and Creative Discoveries
Another exciting part of the excursion was discovering artistic and creative displays around the venue. The pupils had fun interacting with unique sculptures and artistic designs while expressing themselves through photos and group activities.
The EDU-EXPLORE Excursion was carefully organized to combine education with recreation, helping pupils gain real-life experiences while having fun. Trips like these play an important role in developing creativity, communication skills, independence, and confidence in young learners.
At Guided Path Private School, we remain committed to providing enriching opportunities that support the academic, social, and personal growth of every child.
